Several Qatari personnel from the Supreme Committee for Delivery and Legacy (SC) are participating in the organization of the FIFA World Cup 2026, currently being staged in the United States, Canada and Mexico, which concludes on July 19.
The participation is part of the cooperation between the SC and FIFA, aimed at transferring the organizational expertise gained from hosting the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022.
FIFA has been keen to engage the SC because of its extensive expertise in tournament operations, venue operations, media operations, training sites, venue transport operations and team services.
